Claudine Barretto called out the attention of PLDT
Actress Claudine Barretto complained about the service of the Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT) in her recent post on Instagram.
The Optimum Star shared a screenshot of the message that she received from the telecommunications, internet, and digital service holdings company. PLDT apologized for the inconvenience that the actress had in accessing the internet.
She was also advised to call the customer service so that her problem will be addressed. However, Claudine, apparently, did not receive a response from the other party.
“It’s been two weeks since we are trying to contact your company, to complain our internet connection (NOT WORKING). There is no customer care agent available to answer our call. Please Improve your customer service. Thank you,” the actress wrote in the caption of her post and tagged the IG accounts of the company.
Several netizens also shared that same experience that they had with PLDT’s service. “Wala ng nag bago kay PLDT,, kahit non wla p pandemic ganyan na mga yan, pahirapan,,, magaling lng mga yan sa singilan, pag due at d k nagbyad putol agad,” IG user @nhitzluna shared her experience.
Previously, religious group leader Apollo Quiboloy threatened to shut down three telecommunications operators in the country like Smart, Globe, and PLDT as he complained about their slow and expensive services.
“Smart, Globe PLDT… O mga may-ari ng mga telco mahiya naman kayo. Sa buong mundo tayo ang pinaka bagal, pinaka mabagal tapos ang laki-laki pa ng singil nyo…” he said.
