Vice President Leni Robredo Undergoes COVID-19 Test After Staffers Test Positive
VICE PRESIDENT LENI ROBREDO – The result of the coronavirus or COVID-19 test of VP Leni Robredo was released.
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected more than 200 countries and territories across the globe. One of these is the Philippines which has already recorded 67,456 total cases of the disease as of this writing.
According to the Department of Health (DOH), 1,831 of the total COVID-19 patients died while 22,465 have already recovered from the disease. The community quarantine measures are still up.
In PH, several members of the Philippine showbiz industry were infected by COVID-19. There were also government officials and staff of public officials who contracted the disease while doing coronavirus response operations.

In the level of the national government, four (4) staffes of Vice President Leni Robredo tested positive for COVID-19. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the first staff to test positive for the disease is part of the response operation for the pandemic.
Following a member testing positive for the disease, the other concerned staff members underwent COVID-19 test. The Vice President also went through coronavirus testing.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Vice President Leni Robredo’s COVID-19 test result was released. The second-highest official in the Philippine government tested negative for coronavirus.
According to her spokesman, Barry Gutierrez, the Office of the Vice President is now close paving the way for disinfection. Also, contact tracing is conducted to determine those that the COVID-19 positive staff members had contact with.
