Dimples Romana Explains Why She Was Not Able to Join Angel Locsin At ABS-CBN Rally
DIMPLES ROMANA – Actress Dimples Romana revealed why she was not able to join her BFF Angel Locsin at the rally.
“Daytime Teleserye Queen” Dimples Romana’s bff Angel Locsin joined the noise barrage protest on Saturday, July 18, following the denial of ABS-CBN’s franchise bid. Other stars who joined the rally were Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Jake Cuenca, Kylie Verzosa, and Bianca Gonzalez.
The ‘Darna’ actress has been actively criticizing the franchise denial of the media network. In a report, Locsin hit back to the suggestion of Camarines Sur’s 2nd District Rep. LRay Villafuerte for Lopezes which is to sell the company. She asked if this has been their “plan ever since.”
During the rally, Angel Locsin delivered a speech and expressed her anger over her fellow artist who chose to remain silent on the ABS-CBN issue. She said, “Sa lahat ng artistang hindi nagsasalita, ano? May career pa ba kayo? Walana, wala na kayong network… Kahit magpa-cute kayo diyan sa Instagram.”

Dimples Romana took to her Instagram account to thank Angel Locsin for “leading the way, making your presence felt, not just to me but to all our beloved Kapamilyas.”
A netizen asked Romana why she did not join Locsin at the rally. “Bakit di nyo po sinamahan si angel sa rally? kasi ng sisigaw sya san dw mga ksmhn [kasamahan] nya artista? ano comment po? since kw ung [yung] bf [best friend] nya,” she wrote.
The actress replied to the netizen. She explained that she had worked with her son Alonzo and “it’s also his moving up day” yesterday.
