Anne Curtis Slams Pimentel, Refutes Senator’s Statements On Quarantine Breach
ANNE CURTIS SLAMS PIMENTEL – Anne Curtis slammed Senator Koko Pimentel’s claims that the charges against him were “baseless”.
Curtis went on Twitter and said that Pimentel’s actions were reckless and irresponsible. Likewise, the Makati Medical Center also denounced the Senator’s actions. Because of Pimentel, several staff of the hospital needed to be placed under quarantine, slowing operations.
I understand excited sya sa baby nya, BUT he was waiting for the result of his test. Going to the hospital not knowing if he’s positive or not for covid-19 was reckless & irresponsible – putting lives at risk. Imagine babies with low immune systems pa. It is not a “baseless case”
Back in March, Pimentel faced heavy criticism for allegedly breaching quarantine protocols. The Senator was supposed to be under quarantine while waiting for his COVID-19 results.

However, he decided to go with his wife as she was about to have a baby. But, the day the Senator came to the hospital, his test results revealed that he was positive for the new coronavirus.
Pimentel emphasized that when he entered the hospital, he was asymptomatic. Furthermore, he also claimed that the “rumors” of him lingering in the hospital were false. The Senator explained that he left the hospital as soon as he knew he was positive for the virus.
Currently, Pimentel has recovered from the virus and already presented a counter-affidavit to the Department of Justice. However, he chose not to disclose the contents.
