Construction Workers in Tandag City Found Worth Thousands of Old Philippine Money
Several residents found worth thousands of old Philippine money at Tandag City in the province of Surigao del Sur.
Nowadays, various business establishments and organizations in the Philippines are not accepting obsolete paper money. However, people could visit the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas or the Central Bank of the Philippines if the old bills could be exchanged for new bills.
A Facebook user named Peterson Espina Bucay has shared the photos of some workers who found worth thousands of old Philippine banknotes. The photos and the video are now circulating online.
The residents found the money at Telaje Covered Court in Tandag City. The money contains P10, P20, P50 P100, P200, P500, and P1000 paper bills. However, the total amount of the cash buried below the ground is still unclarified.
The construction workers who found the money do not have an idea regarding the real owner of the paper bills.
