Sick Mother Found Helpless Under Sink After Being Abandoned by Children
A miserable situation of a sick mother when he was found alone in their house after she was abandoned by her children elicit reactions.
In the Facebook post of a concerned neighbor named Kristine Vargas Tatad, she shares a pitiful situation of a sick elderly neighbor lying on the floor with no clothes and filled with her own waste. The elderly woman was found under the sink.
In the photos and videos shared, the elderly woman was unable to move her body. According to the concerned neighbor, she was allegedly left by her children in the abandoned house for two days and no food at all.
Kristine added that the owner of the house said that the children of the paralyzed mother had allegedly moved out. However, they did not include their mother, who was almost skinny.

When she and her mother saw the elderly, they immediately wrapped it in a cloth, as it was only covered with a plywood and water container next to it. Kristine said, it been two days since the mother was left by her children
Fortunately, someone discovered the elderly and their neighbor was able to save her when they saw her under a sink. The concerned neighbor filmed her pitiful situation and uploaded it on social media to seek help.
They also immediately looked for mother’s children to find out why they were able to leave their mother alone. With the help of the barangay, they tracked down the newly relocated children of the abandoned mother.
The poor mother’s children said they would not neglect her, in fact, they would return to her but they only put the equipment first. But the rescuer scolded them that they have taken care of their mother first, instead of equipment.
Meanwhile, the Facebook post has gone viral on social media as many netizens were touched by the plight of the elderly woman. Netizens also express resentments to the children who treat her worse.
Help for the poor mom has been pouring in since Kristine’s post went viral on social media. In her new post, the elderly woman is now in good condition can be seen and her children have already taken her.
With the fear that the children might neglect and leave their mother again, Kristine asks for help from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to record the new house she will be relocated to monitor her.
