A motorcycle crashed into a convenience store after it reportedly lost its brakes, leaving the rider injured.
Recently, Elmalyn Almario Claveria, a Facebook user, shared photos of a motorcycle that crashed into a popular convenience store. The post quickly went viral and received various reactions from the online community.
According to Claveria, the accident happened at around 12:10 a.m. near the Ferry corner area. Reports indicated that the motorcycle allegedly lost its brakes while traveling along the road. Unable to stop the vehicle, the rider reportedly continued forward and crashed into the convenience store.
The impact caused damage to the establishment and left the rider injured. Residents in the area immediately became concerned as emergency assistance was requested. The injured motorcyclist, who was identified as a resident of Sitio Ferry, was quickly transported to a hospital for treatment and medical attention.
Authorities responded to the scene shortly after the incident. Police officers and personnel from the local traffic office arrived to manage the situation, assess the damage, and ensure the safety of nearby residents and motorists.
Their presence helped secure the area and prevent additional accidents from occurring.
Barangay officials also visited the site to check on the situation. Barangay Captain Rico Okir Adarlo personally arrived to gather information about the incident and extend assistance to those involved.
