Angeline Quinto has this fiery words amid the rejection of lawmakers
Kapamilya singer Angeline Quinto expressed fury over the decision of the House of Representatives to reject the franchise application of ABS-CBN.
Angeline is just one of the talents of the Kapamilya network who are devastated by the decision against the media company. Through social media, celebrities and employees of ABS-CBN condemn the decision of Congress.
On July 10, lawmakers made the final decision on the franchise application through voting. 70 congressmen voted “yes” to the recommendation to deny the network’s franchise application while only 11 voted in favor of ABS-CBN.
One of the lawmakers who inhibited from voting was Quezon City 5th District Representative Alfred Vargas. The actor-turned-politician reasoned out that it was due to “conflict of interest” and he received bashing due to this. Netizens called him “duwag” for not making a stand regarding the said matter.
This decision against the Kapamilya network obviously prompted Angeline Quinto to burst out with emotion. In her recent tweet, with apparent conviction she cursed those who did not allow to pass the franchise application of ABS-CBN. Here is her Twitter post.
