PAGASA – Easterlies To Affect Palawan, Visayas And Mindanao This July 9, 2020
PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this July 9, 2020.
The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau says that the easterlies or warm winds from the east will be affecting Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao on this day.
According to GMA News, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers that might occur mostly in the afternoon or evening due to easterlies or localized thunderstorms.
The bureau warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur especially during severe thunderstorms.
Based on the report, for the wind speed forecast, the entire archipelago will face light to moderate winds that are moving in the east to southeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
The sun has risen at about 5:33 AM and is expected to set at about 6:30 PM.
