PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this July 8, 2020.

The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau says that the easterlies or warm winds from the east will affect the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao on this day.

According to GMA News, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers will be faced by Metro Manila and the rest of the country mostly in the afternoon or evening due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides might occur especially during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the report, for the wind speed forecast, Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will have light to moderate that is moving from the east to various directions.

The rest of Luzon will face light to moderate winds that are moving southeastward to various directions.

The entire archipelago will face slight to moderate coastal waters.

The sun has risen at 5:33 Am and will set at 6:30 PM.
