Indian Man Wears Gold Face Mask to Ward Off COVID-19
INDIAN MAN – Here are the photos of the Indian man wearing his facemask made out of gold.
Health officials around the world recommend the use of face masks. Wearing medical masks or washable face masks anywhere might help ward off 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) spread among your friends or family members.
Wearing face mask, disinfection, and social distancing was proven effective at stopping transmission. Amid the pandemic, thousands of retailers have sold face masks to the public.
Recently, an Indian man went viral on social media after he paid about $4,000 for his gold face mask. Based on a report from ABS-CBN, the viral man is Shankar Kurade. He said his gold face mask is breathable and comfortable to wear but he was unsure if it really protects him against the coronavirus.

According to the report, Shankar Kurade’s face mask is made of thin gold leaf that weigh 60 grams. He said it took craftsmen 8 days to make his golden mask.
“It is a thin mask and has tiny pores that is helping me to breathe… I am not sure if it will be effective to protect me from a coronavirus infection but I am taking other precautions,” he said.
Based on the report, the 49-year-old Indian man said he likes to wear gold jewelry including rings, bracelets, and necklaces. He shared that he got the idea after he saw a man in the news wearing a face mask made of silver.
“People are asking me for selfies… they are awestruck when they see me wearing the gold mask in markets,” he said.
