Poor Old Man Wears Coconut Shell As Face Mask to Protect Himself
A poor old man who can’t afford to buy a face mask wears a coconut shell to protect himself from the coronavirus disease.
Over the past few months, many people are already using alcohol, hand sanitizers, disinfectants, and face masks to protect themselves against coronavirus disease, which is spreading all around the world.
However, there are some hoarders who buy in-bulk and selling medical supplies online for a higher price. Some less-fortunate people could not afford to buy medical supplies due to extreme poverty.
Recently, the Facebook page “Bohol News Report” has shared the heartbreaking photos of a poor old man wearing a coconut shell to protect himself against COVID-19. The photos garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the photos, it can be seen that the old man is receiving relief goods from kind hearted people while wearing a coconut shell covering his both mouth and nose. The poor man probably could not afford to a protective equipment so he tried to protect himself using an improvised face mask.
