PAGASA – Southwest Monsoon To Affect Parts Of Philippines This June 30, 2020

PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this June 30, 2020.

The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau states that the southwest monsoon or habagat will affect the western section of Luzon on this day.

According to GMA News, habagat will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms over Pangasinan, Zambales, and Bataan.

The bureau warned flash floods and landslides might occur during severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila, as well as the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

As per the report, for the wind speed forecast, northern and central Luzon will have moderate to strong winds that are moving in the southwest to south direction with moderate to rough.

The rest of the country will face light to moderate winds that are moving in the southeast to south direction with slight to moderate.

The sun will rise at 5:30 AM and is expected to set at 6:29 PM.
