PAGASA – Habagat To Affect Southern Luzon, Visayas This June 29, 2020

PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this June 29, 2020.

The latest weather update from the state weather bureau says that the southwest monsoon or habagat, will be affecting Southern Luzon and Visayas on this day.

According to GMA News, the southwest monsoon will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, SOCCSKSARGEN, Northern Mindanao, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Zambales and Bataan.

The bureau warned of flash floods or landslides especially during instances of moderate to heavy rainfall.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers.

Based on the report, the western sections of Luzon and Visayas will face moderate coastal waters, while the rest of the country will face slight to modrate coastal waters.

The sun has risen at around 5:30 AM and is expected to set at 6:29 PM.
