RAMON REVILLA SR. – Legendary icon and former senator Ramon Revilla Sr. passed away at the age of 93 and Lolit Solis has this post about him.

Based on a previous article, Ramon Revilla Sr. passed away following some heart complications he suffered for the past weeks. Before he died, he underwent an angiogram procedure due to some irregularities of the function of his heart. There was also a moment when he had to be connected to a ventilator but it was then removed.

It was afternoon of Friday, June 26, when it was reported that he is dead due to heart failure at the age of 93. He was a tough person for surviving a stroke in 2008 and got bed ridden for 12 years. He is a legendary actor tagged as “Hari Ng Agimat” which propelled him to the Senate of the Philippines.

Many hearts got broken including his good friend Joseph Estrada and his daughter-in-law Lani Mercado. And remembering the late icon, veteran journalist Lolit Solis lauded him for reaching as old as 93 years old fighting for his life to live for such a long time.

Despite being bed-ridden for more than a decade, he accordingly remained as the strong rock of his family and he is really close to his children. He got over 70 children and it is something that people should not follow for which he said when he was still alive.

In another post, it’s been a good thing that his son, his namesake Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. was accordingly out of Crame. He was accordingly able to be with his father all the way up to his last breath. The veteran journalist furthered, “Hindi ko mai imagine ang lungkot na madarama ni Bong kung wala siya sa tabi ng ama sa pagkamatay nito.”
