Bea Alonzo Meets Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto For The First Time

BEA ALONZO – Filipina actress and model Bea Alonzo shared photos with Pasig City mayor Vico Sotto.

Actress Bea Alonzo is among the celebs who have taken time to help during the 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. She launched her own donation drive for the vulnerable communities amid the health crisis.

Last month, she announced that that they have raised P9 million. She also shared that their donations have reached 44 hospitals and 36 communities.

Aside from helping the COVID-19 frontliners, Bea Alonzo’s organization also partnered with Vice President Leni Robredo’s office to distribute relief goods and hygiene kits to a community affected by Typhoon Ambo.

In a previous article, the 32-year-old celebrity donated relief goods to the jeepney drivers in Metro Manila. She did this after seeing the video of the drivers begging for money in the streets to feed their family.

On Saturday, June 20, Bea Alonso took to her Instagram account to share that she finally meets the handsome mayor in Pasig City, Vico Sotto. In the caption, she said she turned over the disinfectants and relief bags form her ‘I Am Hope’ foundation. She said the initiative is also part of a campaign to celebrate Father’s Day.

The prominent actress said the relief bags are for the fathers who are serving the community by picking up garbage and cleaning the streets. She said “MARAMING SALAMAT PO.”

Vico replied to her post by thanking her for the donations. He wrote, “Thank you for helping and congrats for the success of @iamhope_org!”
