Andi Eigenmann Admits Challenge Of Living On Siargao Island
ANDI EIGENMANN – Actress and vlogger Andi Eigenmann said she had to make some adjustments during her first few months on the island.
Filipina actress and model Andi Eigenmann is the daughter of veteran actress Jaclyn Jose. She has two beautiful daughters named Ellie Ejercito and Keliana Alohi Eigenmann.
The 29-year-old celebrity is now living in Siargao Island with her partner Philmar Alipayo. He is one of the best surfers in the country and was hailed as the first Pinoy surfing champ.
In a previous article, Andi Eigenmann revealed that she sold everything before settling down with her Philmar Alipayo in Siargao. She said she has no more ‘yaya’ and driver on the island.
The actress recently taken the internet by a storm after photos of her holding a ‘balde’ went viral on social media. It can be seen in the photo that she has no ‘kyeme’ holding the water tub while riding a motorcycle with her current boyfriend.
In a report, Andi shared the story behind her viral photo. She said, “I have to hold it. And pray I won’t drop it cus patay tayo kay @chepoxz.”

Little did we know that that thing didn’t come easy for Andi Eigenmann. She said she faced some challenges in the beginning. In an episode of the showbiz-oriented program “Ano’ng Ganap?” on Viva Channel, she told the host Phoemela Baranda that during her first few months in Siargao, she had to adapt or make some adjustments.
“I’ve been living here for almost two years now and at the beginning even if ayun nga pangarap ko, pinagarap ko, hindi na siya naging madali. I still had to adjust some ways especially I didn’t have a family here, I don’t have my mom or any of my siblings and best friends Minsan-minsan lang naman silang nakakapunta dito so in that sense naging mahirap siya,” Andi said.
Andi Eigenmann said she’s fortunate that her boyfriend Philmar Alipayo was there to help her overcome with the culture shock. It can be seen in her latest vlogs that she’s really looks so happy and free on the beautiful island.
“But I’m so thankful that I have Philmar. I didn’t move here by myself. So ‘yung culture by myself. So ‘yung culture shock kahit papaano nu’ng simula, si Philmar natulungan niya ako na makapag-adapt. And besides, I really enjoy their way of life here. So ayun I feel like bagay naman ako,” she said.
