Angel Locsin’s Shop & Share Project Raises Huge Amount For Mass Testing
SHOP & SHARE – ‘Darna‘ actress Angel Locsin revealed how much they have raised on the opening day of their Shop & Share project.
During the first wave of 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, actress Angel Locsin raised millions to help overcrowded hospitals. Her initiative really helped because it prevents the spreading of the deadly virus in hospitals.
Angel has done a lot of things to help her countrymen fight the COVID-19. Her fiancé Neil Arce and her celebrity friends like Dimples Romana and Bea Alonzo were very proud of her.
Last month, Angel Locsin relaunched her “Shop & Share” project with Anne Curtis. In her Instagram post, she said her initiative was first done in 2009 to help the families affected by typhoon Ondoy.
The 35-year-old actress decided to auction her sports utility vehicle 2015 Dodge Durango while the It’s Showtime host said her luxury bag Chanel Cruise Boy North South Handbag 2019 is now up for sale. They said they are selling their pre-loved things to raise funds for testing kits amid the pandemic. They also invited their fellow celebrities to donate.
Angel Locsin’s Shop & Share project opened on Monday, June 1. Among the celebrities who donated their pre-loved things are Bea Alonzo, Liza Soberano, Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro, and Karla Estrada. Most of them are selling their shoes.
On Tuesday, the philanthropist took to her Instagram account to announce that they have raised over P700,000 during the opening day. She also shared that they still have few items to offer.
“We’ve raised OVER P700,000 on our opening day! Thank you so much for the amazing support! We still have a few items available for immediate purchase and a few active auctions!” she wrote.
