Here is the result of George Floyd autopsy which indicated details of his death.
GEORGE FLOYD AUTOPSY – Minnesota black man George Floyd’s autopsy result finally reported to the public and it has just made people angrier.
Pinned down hard and tight for nearly 9 minutes in front of the public with the officer’s knee on the neck, black man George Floyd‘s life ultimately ended. The Minneapolis ex-officer Derek Chauvin got intensely criticized and was called a murderer by a mass of people.
The heartbreaking incident which was recorded and now circulating online sparked protests across the United States where many people, black and white, became violent breaking through and lighting up police stations and some have even reached the point of looting.
And now, two autopsies were done with Floyd’s body and both have earned similar results. The examination were done by Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s office and by independent pathologists commissioned by his family.
According to report from USA Today, the result from Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s stated “cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint and neck compression” as the cause of his death. Meanwhile, the result from the one his family has commissioned indicated “asphyxiation from sustained pressure was the cause” of Floyd’s death.
“Neck and back compression that led to a lack of blood flow to the brain,” it added where the weight being put at the back and his situation being handcuffed caused the impairment of Floyd’s diaphragm to function as per report.
In the video which surfaced online, Floyd can be seen struggling in his position while being pushed by the officer flatly on the ground. He was crying and begging for the former officer to loosen up because he can’t breath and everything in his body was aching. But the officer turned deaf to the man’s pleadings.
