Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu recently made rounds on all social media platforms after her viral “Bawal Lumabas” statement. Lots of netizens said it was incomprehensible.
A music arranger named DJ Squammy incorporated a beat to her viral classroom statement. Kim and the DJ eventually collaborated for the full track.
In one of her recent vlogs, Kim Chiu admitted that she got affected by the bashing. But she decided to take things positively. In a previous article, she launched her “Bawal Lumabas” merchandise.
The 30-year-old celebrity said the proceeds of her merch will go to COVID-19 relief efforts. She also partnered with Angel Locsin’s new initiative.
“Sumisilip po ang pag-asa na one day pwede na tayong lumabas. This is a very hard moment ngayon na meron tayo. Kaya magtulungan tayo,” said Kim.
After the launching of her own t-shirt line, Kim Chiu became a trending topic on Twitter. She shared several pictures of herself wearing her “Bawal Lumabas” shirt. ABS-CBN reporter MJ Felipe uploaded a photo of the ‘Chinita Princess’ after their zoom interview.
Kim Chiu also shared several photos of herself wearing her “Bawal Lumabas” merch on her Instagram account. It came with a caption, “#BawalLumabasMerch hindi para pagkakitaan ko kundi para sa mga kababayan natin na #BawalLumabas prin.”
