Here’s what Kim Chiu has donated to people who are affected due to the pandemic disease.
KIM CHIU – ABS-CBN actress Kim Chiu has donated sacks of rice given to 500 families amid the country’s battle versus the pandemic COVID-19.
As the country is facing a big crisis now in form of the unseen Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19), no one is too big or too small to be of help and in terms of help. The government is in full force to provide and protect the people and in helping them are private individuals to reach out to the poor.
Those who sent help and donations are people owning big business, private citizens, and celebrities such as Ivana Alawi, Angel Locsin, Alden Richards, Pokwang, Manny Pacquiao, and many others. Most of the donations are something for poor people to eat for them to survive the month-long Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine.
And another actress also made her move to help and that is ABS-CBN star Kim Chiu. She became a part of the repacking as she doesn’t just want to give it out. She wanted to personally do it, do the move, and make effort in extending help to other people. She and her family did the work.
Her donations have reached 500 families of four barangays in Marikina City this achievement brought satisfaction to her as she was able to help through her own little way.
The actress said during her interview, “Siguro, lahat ng tao ngayon ay pantay-pantay na. Walang mahirap, walang mayaman. Parang iisa na lang ‘yung dinudulog natin na sana ay matapos na lahat ito. Ngayon parang naging stronger ‘yung faith natin kasi wala tayong makapitan dahil walang gamot ang coronavirus, sadyang prayers na lang.”
According to PUSH, she had been praying the Rosary every night for two weeks already. She’s praying for everyone safety especially the frontliners.
