CORONAVIRUS EFFECTS – Is it because of the effects of coronavirus disease that pushed these celebrities to sell their luxurious cars and properties?
It is undeniable truly that the effects of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is unexpectedly devastating. Everyone is affected and the whole world is battling against an unseen enemy. In Philippines, as of 4 pm on Sunday, the Department of Health (DOH) has recorded a total of the following: 14,035 confirmed cases, 868 deaths, and 3,249 recoveries.
With the effects of pandemic boiling down such as unemployment, closing down of businesses, limited capacity in almost all services, and among others, these celebrities, seemingly affected as well, started to put their properties on sale amid health crisis.
First is Derek Ramsay. His three luxury cars such as Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, Aston Martin DB11, and Rolls-Royce Ghost were all put on sale amid the pandemic. And here are their approximate prices:

- Rolls-Royce Ghost – P18.73 – ₱21.67 million (source: zigwheels.ph)
This has made a lot of netizens wonder why the actor has to sell his “toys”. He made this announcement on Facebook indicating,“Time to sell my toys. Message me if interested. (thumbs up emoji)”. Accordingly, if he is able to sell all of his three cars, he will earn a hefty amount.
Meanwhile, Kapuso comedian Allan K, even before the pandemic happened, has sold his house and lot – a property which was owned by a politician prior to him. He transferred to a smaller property in Quezon City. He owns the Zirkoh and Klownz comedy bars which is currently not operating due to pandemic as per PUSH report.
