Angel Locsin Praises Mural Of “Darna” As COVID-19 Frontliner
ANGEL LOCSIN – Actress Angel Locsin praised the mural painting of “Darna” dressed as a doctor on a building in Quezon City.
Filipina actress and philanthropist Angel Locsin is known for her philanthropic work. She’s among the celebrities who immediately respond in times of crisis and calamities.
Last year, Forbes Asia listed her as one of ‘Heroes of Philanthropy.’ The actress gained lots of admirers because of her selfless actions for her countrymen.
On Monday, May 18, Angel Locsin launched a new initiative that aims to provide mass testing in the country. She encouraged her fellow celebrities to support her “Shop and Share” initiative.
Last March, the 35-year-old celebrity launched her first initiative called #UniTentWeStandPH.” Her fundraiser aimed to help address the overcrowding in COVID-19 hospitals.
Recently, an artist named AG Saño decided to mural panting that features the Pinay superheroine ‘Darna’ in green scrubs and face mask. Perci Cendaña, a former commissioner at the National Youth Commission uploaded the photo on Facebook on Sunday, May 17.
The viral photo caught the attention of Angel Locsin. She expressed awe at the beautiful artwork. In fact, she shared the photos on her Instagram and praised Año for his wonderful tribute for the frontliners who worked tirelessly amid the COVID-19 crisis.
“Isang malaking karangalang maging inspiration mo sa pagpinta, AG Saño, at salamat sa patuloy na pagbibigay ng inspirasyon through your artwork,” she wrote.
