Angel Locsin Raises Over 3 Million For #UniTENTweStandPH
ANGEL LOCSIN – Actress Angel Locsin has raised P3 million for #UniTENTweStandPH Campaign to help set up additional tents for COVID-19 patients.
Filipina actress Angel Locsin is known for her philanthropic work. In a report, she and her fiance Neil Arce set up tents outside a hospital for the coronavirus frontliners.
Last week, the 34-year-old actress launched a crowdfunding campaign #UniTENTweStandPH to provide more hospital tents in a bid to fight the 2019 coronavirus crisis in the Philippines. Celebrity couple Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico supported the actress’s campaign and said they donated two tents for the healthcare workers.
In a previous article, Angel Locsin’s soon-to-be-husband Neil Arce made rounds on social media after he uploaded a screenshot of a basher’s post. The film producer slammed the ‘sociologist’ who said that the prominent actress’ efforts amid coronavirus crisis are all for publicity.
Yesterday, March 29, Angel Locsin revealed that her crowdfunding campaign with Neil Arce and Dimples Romana has raised over P3 million. The tents will be distributed to 28 hospitals in Luzon.
“Sa nakaraang 3 araw po with your donations to #UniTENTweStandPH combining all three donation channels-GoGetFunding, PayMaya and @therealangellocsin ‘s Eastwest bank account now amounting to over 3M pesos,” she wrote.
