Brazil Records Over 15,000 New Cases of COVID-19 in Just 24 Hours

Update on Brazil COVID-19 Cases Amid Global Pandemic Now

BRAZIL – The South and Latin American country recorded more than 15,000 new cases of COVID-19 in just 24 hours.

More than 200 countries have confirmed cases of COVID-19. This strain of coronavirus was first recorded in China last December 2019 and it has spread throughout the globe now.

Wuhan City was the epicenter of coronavirus in China. The authorities locked the city in Hubei Province for more than two (2) months following an outbreak.

However, the disease was not contained. Several people who had travel histories to China and flew to other nations tested positive for the disease.

Now, the COVID-19 is already a pandemic as its impact is far beyond what was expected of it. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), it is going to be a longterm battle against the pandemic.

Brazil is one of the countries with confirmed cases of COVID-15. Unfortunately, recently, the South and Latin American country recorded over 15,000 new cases of coronavirus in just 24 hours.

Based on a global tally of Worldometer, the recent addition on the COVID-19 cases in Brazil brings the total confirmed cases in the country to 218,223. It is currently the 6th country in terms of coronavirus cases.

With regards to the death toll, based on the tally, 14,817 died of the disease in the South and Latin American nation. As of this writing, 84,970 patients have recovered from the disease.
