Lady Netizen Garnered Distasteful Remarks Online After Netizens Misread her Post
A lady netizen earned online criticisms after the social media users misread her post about President Rodrigo Duterte.
Over the past few days, several netizens posting reward money for anyone who could kill President Rodrigo Duterte have been already arrested. Some of them are offering P50 million and even P100 million.
The police authorities have already warned the public and the critics of President Duterte to stop posting threats or such things. Anyone who will be caught doing the same act would face corresponding sanctions and penalties.
A Facebook user named Nora Marcaida garnered massive amount of criticisms from the online community after the netizens misread and misinterpreted her post. The social media users cursed and even insulted her because of her post.
Nora posted: “Yung 50m, gagawin kong 500m euro, sa sinoman “MAKAKAPANTAY kay Duterte”. The post immediately spread like a wildfire on social media and the netizens were fast enough to criticize her.
The netizens probably misread the word “MAKAKAPANTAY” and initially think that it was ‘Makakapatay’. As of this writing, the post has 65k reactions, 49k shares, and 56k comments.
