The famous Filipino actor Coco Martin considers filming ‘Ang Probinsyano’ as service to the Filipino people.

Coco Martin has become the headlines of several local news outlets and social media pages over the past few days because of his distasteful remarks against the personalities involved in the ABS-CBN shutdown.

The actor expressed his disappointment and tirade against the government for their decision to shutdown the broadcast operation of the Kapamilya network. His statement immediately spread like a wildfire on social media.

Unfortunately, the Kapamilya star garnered negative reactions and criticisms from the online community because of his statement but there are some fans who continue to support him despite the incident.

Last weekend, the 38-year-old actor greets his Lola Matilde Nacianceno with a “Happy Mother’s Day” on his Instagram account. However, the celebrity includes his sentiments regarding ABS-CBN shutdown on his greetings.

In his post, Coco Martin described the making of ‘Ang Probinsyano’ as service to the Filipino people and to the country.

“Hindi lang po basta trabaho ang ginagawa namin sa likod at harap ng camera, ito ang pagseserbisyo namin sa bayan at sa lahat ng Pilipino saan mang lupalop ng mundo!!” the actor wrote on his IG post.
