The Philippines is currently on a health crisis. More than 10,000 cases of coronavirus were recorded in the country. Everyone is advised to stay at home if not for essential purposes.

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte accepted the recommendation of the National Inter-Agency Task Force against COVID-19. The national body assessed the different areas in the country and categorized them among low, medium, and high risk.

The Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) is extended in the high risk areas. It will expire on May 15 thus there will be an assessment on whether it would be extended, lifted, or modified.
