Kapamilya actress Cristine Reyes has this reaction about the issues of ABS-CBN network.
CRISTINE REYES – Model and actress Cristine Reyes was lauded because of her reaction regarding the issues of ABS-CBN franchise renewal case.
The 25-year legislative franchise of ABS-CBN network has expired and the franchise renewal case for another 25 years is still pending. The shut down was ordered by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) and was immediately implemented and followed by the network.
Many celebrities have expressed disappointment over the decision of the NTC for two reasons: (one) 11,000 workers have lost their job and (two) the network was shut down amid a public health crisis where people needed reliable information from time to time which the network provides.
But amid the rally and the hate, the reaction of Kapamilya actress Cristine Reyes about this was commended by the netizens. Her statement did not invite hatred and negativity. It was made out of authentic feelings of the actress.
She wrote in her post that in 16-year show business career, she learned that there will always be ups and downs and there will always be something that can happen out of hand. But there are certain things as well that can happen in the right time as there is nothing permanent in this world.
“Lahat tayo may kanya kanyang pag-subok sa buhay. Tatag ng damdamin at taimtim na tiwala sa itaas. Lahat ng bagay ay lilipas, sa takdang panahon,” she added in her post. Also, she expressed gratitude to ABS-CBN for trusting her for 12 years.
