Willie Revillame talks about Vico Sotto
Wowowin host Willie Revillame gave his reactions to the performance of Vico Sotto as the Pasig City Mayor, especially during the enhanced community quarantine.
Previously, the game show host talked to Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno and asked what he could help for the people. Willie is known for his charitable endeavor which is also the main goal of his show.
This is aside from the relief goods that he distributed already last month to affected families and the cash donations from him and his friends.
In the recent episode of his show, based on the article from Bandera, the host talked about Mayor Vico but he immediately clarified that what he will say is not based on the context of politics.
Willie expressed admiration to the young public servant. He said that Vic Sotto and Coney Reyes raised him well.
“Napakasimple. God-fearing kasi ‘yun at saka kay Tita Coney, ang ganda ng pagpapalaki. Napakasimpleng tao. Kung magsalita malumanay. Mayor Vico Sotto, saludo kami sa ‘yo. You’re a good example sa kabataan, sa aming lahat,” the TV host said.
Willie Revillame also cited that the fact that there is no complaint from people of Pasig proves that the Mayor is working hard amid the crisis. “Kasi nakikita mo, laging nasa labas. Mayor Vico Sotto, ang galing mo,” he expressed.
The TV host reiterated that the good remarks he said about Mayor Vico Sotto have nothing to with politics, based on the article. In his show, there were already several politicians who appeared during the ECQ.
Through Wowowin, Willie continues to give entertainment and cash prized to the viewers around the Philippines amid the crisis due to the novel coronavirus disease 2019.
