Pangasinan Doctor Infected with Coronavirus Recovers from the Disease

DOCTOR INFECTED WITH CORONAVIRUS – A doctor who contracted COVID-19 in Pangasinan recovered from the infection.

In the fight against coronavirus and while everyone is encouraged to stay at home for their safety, there are people who have to go out and be on the front line. Among them are medical staff.

Sadly, in the Philippines, more than 1,000 medical frontliners were infected by COVID-19. At least twelve (12) doctors died of the disease that claimed over 500 lives in the country.

There are doctors and nurses who died of the disease while there are also those who recovered. One of them is a doctor in Pangasinan.

Doctor Infected with Coronavirus Pangasinan

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, eleven (11) medical frontliners contracted COVID-19 in Pangasinan. Six (6) of them are doctors and five (5) are nurses.

Recently, a 33-year-old doctor who was infected with coronavirus in Pangasinan recovered from the disease. The medical professional undergone swab testing last April 4.

On April 20, the doctor who was infected with coronavirus got admitted to a hospital. The 33-year-old was suffering from fever and sore throat. With God’s grace, the doctor has recovered from the infection.

The doctor who was admitted at Urdaneta City District Hospital is thankful to all the doctors and nurses who attended the treatment. Based on the report, there are currently 39 cases of coronavirus confirmed in Pangasinan.

Provincial health officer Dr. Anna Guzman reminded the medical frontliners to wear proper equipment in handling patients. The said protective gears include gloves, mask, and face shield.
