REGINE VELASQUEZ – OPM icon and Kapamilya singer Regine Velasquez just turned 50 years old and this how she celebrated amid quarantine.
“Go and keep shining for Jesus baba. You are and will always be my eternal and I love you with all my heart,” wrote Ogie Alcasid for his wife Regine Velasquez who just recently turned 50 years old. She is Asia’s Songbird and always the legend that we love may it be in singing or as a person.
Due to prohibited mass gatherings brought about by strict implementation of enhanced community quarantine in the entire Luzon, she only celebrated her 50th birthday in her house. This is with husband and their only son Nate.
And in her Instagram post, she expressed gratitude to those who have remembered her day and greeted her. Shed even added, “They say 50 is a milestone infair nararamdaman ko talaga sa tuhod ko yang pagka milestone nya ha.”
Alcasid and Velasquez have been married for more than 9 years already. Ogie was married before with to former beauty queen Michelle Van Eimeren, with whom he has two daughters. Although their relationship did not work out, they remained to be good friend and Regine and Michelle were actually close as well.
