Ogie Alcasid reaction to his wife’s “insensitive” marriage advice.
REGINE VELASQUEZ – Singer and songwriter Ogie Alcasid has this reaction when asked about the “insensitive” marriage advice of Regine Velasquez.
Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli officially got married last February 20, 2020, in a secret Christian wedding which shocked the country, their fellow celebrities, and even the Popstar’s family. Mommy Divine was even put on hot seat after she made a scene that day after knowing that her daughter got married without her knowledge.
But before the wedding reports erupted online, Regine Velasquez already had a marriage advice to them and that is to have sex. Aside from that, one essential factor is communication for stronger relationship. However, in a previous report, Ricky Lo found that advice insensitive.
With this, Ogie Alcasid, her husband, came in defense for her about her comment which apparently became controversial. In a report from PEP, Ogie said, “My wife has a very strange sense of humor. She goes overboard, and that’s how she is. She doesn’t mean anything disrespectful about things. If she has offended some, I’m sure in her heart she’s very apologetic. But that’s not projected to offend anyone.”
Accordingly, it was one way of his wife make things lighter about the issue and clarified that it was not meant to disrespect anyone. She was just stressing a fact what a married couple naturally does and not meant to offend anyone or anything. And she surely is apologetic about it when some got offended by her controversial statement.
He added, “So, it’s not something that’s binababoy or binabastos. She’s stressing a fact that when you get married, you do things that married couples do. I’m sure hindi naman niya intensiyon mambastos.”
