Recently, the ABS-CBN News Facebook page shared a video shows about 46 soldiers in the formation line, walking in the middle of the road of Maricaban, Pasay City. The soldiers were deployed at Barangay 178 and it was upon the request of Barangay Chairman Boyti Timabag.

According to Timabag, he was the one who requested military forces from the Camp Aguinaldo to be deployed in their area because of stubborn residents who still continue to violate enhanced community quarantine rules amid stricter implementation.

Previously, the Governor of Cavite, Jonvic Remulla, also requested for military forces at Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) to take over the enhanced community quarantine implementation in his province as 10% of the population are stubborn and still continue to violate.

Meanwhile, the video has gone viral on social media as many netizens agrees on the decision of barangay chairman. Netizens also hope that their chairman and public officials to do the same.

As of now, President Rodrigo Duterte is asking for help from the experts for the implementation of “Martial Law-Like” enhanced community quarantine. He also readies police and military forces to enforce the stricter ECQ guidelines.
