Gov. Remulla Wants Military to Enforce ECQ as Numbers of Violators Still Increase
Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla said that he will let the military enforce the ECQ in Cavite as the numbers of violators still increase amid strict implementation.
On Monday, Remulla said on his social media post that he already talked to the provincial director of Caviteto request assistance from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) as many residents still continue to violate the ECQ guidelines.
According to his post, he’s already pissed for the 10% of residents in Cavite who are stubborn and possibly cause of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) spread in the province.
NAKAKAPIKON!” he said on his post.
He also added that “Kung kulang ang patakaran at pakiusap ay subukan ko naman kaya ang HIGPITAN ko ang padtupad nito.”
Earlier, President Rodrigo Duterte warns stubborn violators that if they still disobey the guidelines he will implement “Martial Law-Like” enhanced community quarantine. He also readies police and military forces to enforce the stricter ECQ guidelines.
