Sadly, lots of people allegedly hoard face masks then sell it at an unreasonable price. Due to the shortage of this protective item, government officials just advised them to create an improvised face mask.
Since wearing face masks in public becomes the news normal. Filipino celebrities shared how they create their DIY face masks.
In a previous article, Kapuso actress and socialite Heart Evangelista created her own improvised face mask. She used ribbons from Chanel and Hermes.
On Friday, April 17, Local superstar Kathryn Bernardo uploaded a video tutorial on how she makes her own face mask. She only uses a handkerchief and a rubber band to assemble the protective gear.
In the caption, she advised her fans and followers to always wear face masks when leaving their homes.
“Please stay safe and stay at home! If it’s absolutely necessary to go out, don’t forget to take extra safety measures and wear a mask. Making your own DIY washable mask is easy and will help keep you, your family, and everyone else around you safe,” she wrote.
