Generous Teacher Buys Extra ‘Lechon Manok’ for Hungry Grab Food Rider and 2 Other Frontliners
A generous teacher earned praises online after she ordered an extra ‘lechon manok’ for a hungry Grab Food rider.
A Facebook user named Cha Calubaquib ordered extra foods for a hardworking Grab food rider and two other frontliners. Her post garnered praises and admiration from social media users.
Calubaquib has decided to order “Baliwa Lechon Manok” from Grab food since she finds it hard to go outside due to the enhanced community quarantine. She wants to help the frontliners and the Grab food rider by treating them.
The kind-hearted lady gave the extra food to Grab rider but he decided to bring it to his children at home. Cha also found out that the Grab personnel identified as ‘Kuya Andrew’ is a single dad.
The delivery guy expressed his gratefulness towards the kindness of Teacher Cha to him. He also sent his photo together with his children while eating ‘lechon manok’.
Here is the full post.
“Today, out of all the other days, I’ve decided to have food delivered for the second time in this quarantine. Hindi ko kasi kaya yung hiya ko na magpapadeliver ako when all these frontliners are also risking their lives just to deliver food. So, naisip ko, kung magpapadeliver ako, gusto ko mapapakain ko din yung magdedeliver the same ng oorder ko.
So, today (ulit? So tumigil ako. Eh may tumanggap :(( Si kuya Andrew.
So ayun, nagulat ako nagmessage siya ulit (SCREENSHOT). Naiyak nanaman ako. Haha.
Tapos biglang may message ako sa Inbox ko nagsend si Kuya A ng picture nilang mag-aama followed by his selfie!
KAHIT NAKAMASK, KITA MO YUNG SAYA.
Hagulgol nako? Haha. Lord, salamat po. Salamat po for making me Your instrument today to help somebody in need.✨ Thank You, Lord. Alam ko po, ikaw yan ❤️❤️❤️
Bago ko i-post yun picture, tinanong ko siya kung pwede ko i-post shempre (the Teacher in me haha) sabi niya,
“Opo ma’am! Sayang po wala tayong picture.” 😭”
The social media lauded the female teacher for her generosity:
