Action star Robin Padilla revealed the hardships of his wife Mariel Padilla in doing relief operations for people affected by the enhanced community quarantine.
Several celebrities have been doing their parts in order to help the less fortunate Filipinos amid the health crisis in the Philippines due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Some have provided relief goods, medical equipment for frontliners, and anything that could sustain the needs of many people.
One of the celebrities who have been working hard to extend help is Mariel and Robin as a husband feels proud of what his wife has been doing these past few weeks. In the recent Instagram post of the action star, he shared a glimpse of the efforts that Mariel is doing.
“Walang pinakapagod sa lockdown na ito kundi si @marieltpadilla at ang kanyang mga staff sa casa maria batid namin ang hirap ng kanilang mga loob dahil hindi rin nila makita ang mga pamilya,” he said.
Robin added that they all have mental stress amid this situation. However, they are happy that they got along together in doing their therapy and that is “general cleaning sa umaga hanggang tanghali at relief operations naman sa hapon hanggang gabi.”
He added that since the lockdown began, Mariel and her staff started doing their relief efforts. Because of that, they don’t get enough sleep and their bodies are tired. However, they don’t mind having these sacrifices just to help those who are in need.
Robin Padilla also thanked their staff one by one. “Malalim na pasasalamat sa inyo Ate erna, Ninang Analyn, Narcisa, Sister jo, Belen, Elsie, Uncle peter, Brother rico, Brother utoy,” he said.
