Nueva Ecija Town Mayor Adrianne Mae Cuevas Personally Gives Cash Aid to Poor Families
The Mayor of Palayan City in Nueva Ecija earns praises online after she personally delivered cash aid to the houses of residents.
The local government units are already distributing relief goods and cash aids to the poor families whose livelihoods and source of income was affected by the enhanced community quarantine.
However, many residents are defying the lockdown protocols just to receive help from the government or private help donors. A lot of people are violating social distancing measures just to get food supplies or cash.
A Facebook user named Onibar Aven Dupaya has shared the photos of Adrianne Mae J. Cuevas of Palayan City in Nueva Ecija distributing P3,000 cash per household in 19 barangays. The photos garnered praises from the online community.
In the photo, it can be seen that Mayor Cuevas is handling cash to the residents on their houses. She personally delivered the money to her constituents in compliance with the enhanced community quarantine.
Dupaya also wrote on her post their beloved mayor delivered the financial assistance as early as 6 am in the morning. The city leader also wants to prevent mass gatherings and residents from going outside of their houses.
