Hard-Headed Residents Who Were Caught Violating Quarantine Orders Received Punishment From Authorities
The video footage of authorities punishing hard-headed residents violating the enhanced community quarantine goes viral online.
Over the past few weeks, the Philippine government is strictly implementing the enhanced community quarantine to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the country. The measure limits the movements of the residents.
The new lockdown protocol restricts mass gatherings, mass transport, suspension of work, and prohibits the residents to go outside if they have no valid reason. Violators would face corresponding sanctions and penalties.
Recently, a Facebook user named Rommel Mitra Lim has shared the video footage of police authorities punishing hard-headed residents who continue to defy the lockdown protocols in the country.
In the video, it can be seen that the local officials were punishing several residents who were caught drinking alcoholic drinks amid liquor ban and some of them were caught loitering amid curfew policy.
The quarantine violators were given a punishment of walking from Malaban to Langkiwa, which is around 9 kilometers.
