Former Singer Carol Banawa Join Fight Against COVID-19

CAROL BANAWA – Former singer Carol Banawa joined the fight against the 2019 novel coronavirus in the US.

Filipina singer and singer Carol Banawa is one of the famous ‘Original Pilipino Music’ (OPM) singers in the Philippines. She is the performer behind the hit song “Bakit Di Na Lang Totohanin.”

She left the entertainment industry in 2006 and lived with her husband Ryan Crisostomo in the United States. Her husband serves the military in the US. They are blessed with two beautiful kids.

Aside from being a mom, Carol Banawa pursued her education and studied nursing. In a previous article, the former singer graduated as a Summa Cum Laude.

Carol Banawa is battling the 2019 novel coronavirus alongside other healthcare workers in the US. On Friday, April 10, the Pinay singer shared a photo of herself wearing a face shield and a face mask on her Instagram account.

In the caption, the 39-year-old frontliner revealed that she “will be floating out of my home unit starting next week to train and help out other units in the next few weeks.”

“Preparing for the incoming surge of #covid patients. Grateful to receive this added protection just in time,” she added.
