LIST – Amid the coronavirus lockdown, streaming services offer free content and extended trials.

Health officials urged the public to practice “social distancing” or “physical distancing” due to the 2019 novel coronavirus pandemic. Most of the people right now try to stay productive in their homes while others are binge-watching tv show or movies.

All of us should avoid public places for the meantime while the health experts and scientists are still searching for a vaccine or cure for COVID-19. We can all hope that this pandemic will be over soon so we can go back to our normal lives.

Meanwhile, streaming services have some great offers to all of us amid the lockdown. Based on a report from Macrumors, several streaming services decided to offer free content and extended trials to help us endure boredom.

These are Apple TV+, HBO, AMC Networks, Free Epix via Apple TV Channels, Showtime, CBS All Access, YouTube Originals, PBS Kids, Amazon Prime Now, Sling Free, Hulu, Netflix, and Quibi.

According to the report, the content of Apple TV+ will be available through their TV app on iPod touch, iPad, iPhone, Apple TV, Mac, Roku and Amazon Fire TV devices and select LG and Samsung Smart TVs,

HBO’s free movie include “The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part,” “Small Foot,” and “Pokémon Detective Pikachu” while their free tv series include “Big Little Lies,” “Barry,” “Silicon Valley,” “Veep,” “The Wire” and “True Blood.”

AMC will offer Sundance movies, BBC nature documentaries, “The Walking Dead” and IFC programming like “Mystery Science Theater 3000” and “Brockmire”

EPIX is currently free for those who have Apple TV Channels while Showtime and CBS All Access is available for 1 month free trial period.

Based on the report, several of Youtube’s original series was made available for free. Amid the COVDI-19 crisis, the content of PBS Kids and Amazon Prime Now is free. Hulu and Netflix offer 30 days to try their services.
