Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has already infected over million people around the world including Philippines. Because the virus that causes COVID-19 is highly contagious, health officials recommend that the public should practice social distancing.
Health authorities reminds citizens to Avoid mass gatherings, handshakes or other body contacts. Social distancing also includes the diversification of at least one meter from people coughing or sneezing. They cause small liquid droplets that may have a virus that can enter your body’s system when you inhale.
Meanwhile, a video footage has elicited comments from the online community after disobeying advice and health protocols amid the continuous spread of coronavirus. A concerned netizens shared a video footage of social gathering on their barangay.
According the post, a boodle fight was held in their place amid the enhanced community quarantine implemented. In the video, group of men lining up and waiting for their turn to eat in a table with rice mixed with dishes.
The purpose of the video was probably for fun but instead of good vibes it prompted criticisms and elicited comments from the online community. Instead of good reactions, netizens condemned them for disobeying the virus precautionary measures.
