In an article by Khaleej Times, the corona car is racking up the miles at the tech hub of Hyderabad to remind fellow citizens about the dangers of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

“People are not scared and are still … on the streets despite the clear danger,” said 67-year-old Yadav, who runs a printing business. “My message through the car art is to make them understand that it is dangerous to be out on the streets and the safest place right now is the home,” he added.

Yadav said he was inspired by the virus-shaped helmets worn by Indian police to ease their implementation of the 21-day lockdown. In Bangalore’s tech-hub, authorities danced wearing red and green coronavirus helmets in front of drivers who disobeyed the quarantine, while some of their colleagues blew horns and banged gongs, based on the reports.

In the southern city of Chennai, police Insp. Rajesh Babu hired a local artist to design helmets with red spikes and bulbs to scare the drivers. According to Yadav, the inventor with the Guinness World Record on the world’s largest tricycle, Hyderabad police support his work.
