Sonny Angara Condition Now After He Tested Positive For Coronavirus

SONNY ANGARA – Here is the condition now of Philippine Senator Sonny Angara after he tested positive for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Philippine senatorsĀ Migz ZubiriĀ andĀ Aquilino Pimentel IIIĀ have both tested positive forĀ Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). The latter senator even created ire on social media when he went out despite being someone considered as person under investigation (PUI).

And the third senator to have contracted the virus is Senator Sonny Angara based on a previous report. The Department of Health’s (DOH) April 6 update indicated that the country now has 3,660 confirmed cases with 163 deaths recorded and 73 recoveries.

Now, according to GMA’s report, Angara has announced on Monday, April 6, that he is now negative for the virus and got discharged after some time battling the deadly virus and eventually winning it over. This is by following protocols and having the right medical attention needed to have his full recovery.

In his Instagram post where a photo with it said ‘welcome home’, he wrote, “After several days in the ER and the covid wing my doctors finally sent me home today– negative for the virus and pneumonia free.”

He expressed his gratitude to the doctors and nurses who took care of him and the prayers for his fast recovery including the foods and letters that was given to him to help him survive a dangerous medical situation by having the highly contagious virus.

“Am truly grateful for the gift of life and even more so now for those at the front lines who safeguard our lives and protect our society. I met nurses and doctors who don’t go home anymore, some even doing double duty in other hospitals. They truly truly are REAL HEROES,” he added.
