Japanese Man Did This For Cebuanos Amid COVID-19 Crisis

JAPANESE MAN – Lots of netizens were touched by the kindness of the Japanese man towards Cebuanos amid COVID-19 pandemic.

Filipino celebrities and individuals have offered free meals for the brave healthcare workers fighting the 2019 novel coronavirus disease. Some of them offered some help to the families affected by the “enhanced community quarantine.”

On March 16, the mayor of Cebu City, Edgar Labella” also placed the city under community quarantine following the increase of coronavirus cases in the country. Public movements in the city are now restricted.

Recently, a Facebook user named Jojo Socejo shared a photo of a Japanese man giving free grocery items to the people in Cebu City. The kind-hearted foreigner just showed that he has a genuine heart for Pinoys particularly the Cebuanos.

The netizen uploaded the photo of the Japanese national on March 28. It can be seen in the photos that he’s giving out free grocery items to the less fortunate in Plaridel Street.

Jojo Secejo said he noticed the Japanese national while he was doing his rounds. The foreigner was sitting on the sidewalk offering canned goods and noodles to the less fortunate.

The netizens didn’t get the name of the foreigner but he was truly touched by his gesture of heping his fellow Filipinos. The post has garnered 1.2 thousand reactions, 93 comments and 486 shares as of this writing.
