LUIS MANZANO – Kapamilya host Luis Manzano slams netizen who criticized his fellow and other artists’ opinion about current events.
Recently, among the most-discussed topic on social media was the summon from National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) for one of the best performing mayors now from Pasig City, Mayor Vico Sotto. Accordingly, he violated a quarantine protocol when he allowed tricycle drivers to operate despite the banning of public transportation.
Specifically, he violated the Republic Act 11469 or the Bayanihan to Heal as One Act Section 6 (a) for disobeying national government policies or directives in imposing quarantines. Thus, he was invited to explain his side regarding the matter.
Meanwhile, many officials find the summon as baseless because the supposed “violation” of the young mayor happened even before the act has become a law which was signed by the president just last March 24. Kapamilya artist Luis Manzano also aired his comment regarding the matter echoing what almost everyone was saying but someone commented saying that his fellow artists who don’t have a degree were making noises through their opinions.
Manzano lambasted the comment. He told the commenter who described them as ‘Pa-woke, bandwagoners, and Pi-Noise’, “Hindi kelangan na makapag -aral para may paninindigan o opinion, wag bobo.”
Several artists have also reacted when the president, in his latest speech, threatened the quarantine violators to be shot dead if they ever make trouble and put the lives of law enforcers at stake.
