KC Concepcion Send Meals To COVID-19 Frontliners
KC CONCEPCION – Actress and entrepreneur KC Concepcion donated free meals to frontliners fighting 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Angel Locsin, Ivana Alawi, Maine Mendoza, and Bela Padilla are among the celebrities who have offered a helping hand amid coronavirus crisis. Some of them focus on helping the needy while others provide support for the COVID-19 frontliners.
In a previous article, the video of Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera cooking Menudo for the frontliners in Quezon City went viral on social media. Her way of showing appreciation for the healthcare workers earned praise from the online community.
The frontliners are risking their lives to save COVID-19 patients. The pandemic is challenging us to boost our compassion towards other people. The healthcare workers are the ones experiencing the most difficulty.
Recently, actress KC Concepcion decided to donate ready-to-eat meals for the frontliners who are combating the pandemic. The daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta shared some photos of the food packages on her Instagram account.
“Filipinos have been coming together to help those on the frontline as consistently as we could. It’s so wonderful to see. Today, and yesterday, we sent out 400 ready-to-eat chicken & pork adobo in jars for our nurses, doctors, security guards and medical staff on duty,” she wrote.
In the caption, KC Concepcion said she provided meals for the healthcare workers at Perpetual Help Medical Center in Las Piñas and Veterans Memorial Center. She also thanked the people who delivered the food.
