Kapamilya Star Bela Padilla To Refuse Grant Selfies w/ Fans Due To Coronavirus
The Filipina actress Bela Padilla won’t be granting selfies and would refuse to take photos with fans amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Krista Elyse Hidalgo Sullivan or popularly known as Bela Padilla is one of the most popular female celebrities in the Philippines. She is an actress, film producer, screenwriter, occasional host, and model.
The actress has been already featured in various films, TV shows, and commercials after she was discovered by ABS-CBN talent scout Jet Valle. Through the years, she earned popularity and garnered fans and supporters nationwide.
Recently, the 28-year-old celebrity sought the understanding of her fans and supporters about her decision to refuse picture taking and selfies in public due to the threats of the new coronavirus disease.
Bela Padilla has also narrated her encounter with a fan at a supermarket who asked for a selfie and she granted it disregarding the safety measures to avoid the virus. She is now asking the understanding of the public when she refused to grant selfies.
“I hope everyone understands when we refuse photos for the time being. I was shocked yesterday while at the grocery with my mom, a lady who seemed very kind approached and took her mask off and wanted my mom to take her photo with me. I understand the excitement but safety first”
