Imee Marcos says something about the current situation of the country.

IMEE MARCOS – Philippine Senator Imee Marcos said something on social media about Duterte administration and what’s happening now amid crisis.

Due to Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), enhanced community quarantine to several areas in the country and in the entire Luzon has been implemented. With the threatening increase of confirmed cases in the country, President Rodrigo Duterte was granted to have emergency powers by the House Committee of the Whole. This would be for a limited time and is subject to restrictions.

With this, Philippine Senator Imee Marcos lambasted this insisting that this is not the right time for being “kuripot”. She added to give an all-out support to people and not focus on this as such as it could only ignite fear to public. She also called out the government to help the mayors especially in providing basic needs for the people.

Marcos even further revealed the huge budget allocated to National Food Authority and Department Of Agriculture. She said, “Yung mga customs na yan pwede ba yung sangkatutak na mga isda na imported, ipamigay na lang yan kaysa mabulok diyan. Balita ko may nabubulok pang bigas.”

She also heard and discovered canned goods being kept and also called out the smugglers to just donate their items. She said, “Hoy mga smuggler ha. Meron kayong record. Hindi sekreto kung sino kayo at hindi rin sekreto sa inyong mga bodega. Ano ba naman i-donate na lang ninyo yan… Magbago na tayo.”
